Kelly Nadel is the Clinical Training Director at Good Inside - the expert-guided, community-powered platform equipping parents with a new way of seeing and solving challenges at home. She is also a clinical social worker in private practice on the Upper West Side.

Kelly has extensive training in attachment-based psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy as well as interpersonal and relational psychoanalytic perspectives. 

 

Kelly is direct and empathic as she works together with people to alleviate symptoms and increase well-being.

Prior to starting her private practice, Kelly trained at Riverdale Mental Health Association treating children, individuals and families. Kelly has extensive experience with complex-trauma, dyadic relational problems and emotional/behavioral issues.

Kelly completed her Masters Degree in Social Work at New York University, Cum Laude. During her graduate degree, Kelly was awarded the Clinical Social Work Writing Award from the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work for her paper on attachment theory and dyadic treatment interventions. Prior to her career as a psychotherapist, Kelly was the program analyst for Columbia University’s TeenScreen Program.  A national program dedicated to reducing suicidality in teens. 

Kelly is a candidate at Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis and an adjunct professor at Adelphi University’s Parent & Infant Program.
